New Collegian Members Selected
Sixty-eight collegian women were accepted as new members of the Griffiths Leadership Society. Members were welcomed at a reception on April 26, 2009, at the Old Alumni Center on campus. Chair Jill Brown welcomed the new members along with vice chair Ellie Miller and Mizzou Alumni Association President Craig Lalumandier.
Applications for student membership are available each winter and are due annually on March 1. Membership provides members an authentic mentoring experience by successful women, leadership seminars and skill development, career coaching and expert advice, networking within and across disciplines, leads on prospective jobs, and lifelong relationships with MU alumnae.
To be eligible, students must be enrolled full time at MU as a junior, senior, graduate or professional student for the fall academic year, and be a member of the Mizzou Alumni Association. Annual dues are $40 and scholarship assistance is available. For more information on student membership, contact Heidi Griswold, Student Membership Chair.
